It all started back in 2017 when our founder noticed there was something missing in the Downtown Chicago community and decided to do something about it. 9GRIA was born out of necessity, innovation, and putting the needs of people first.
Few could have predicted the growth our Small Business has achieved since then, but the hard work and dedication of our team of professionals is the story of our success. We never rest on our laurels, and are always striving to expand our product offerings and improve our service.
OUR MISSION
The Mission behind Authentic Nigerian Restaurant is to connect this generation of African Americans with their Nigerian/African heritage through food. This is an important measure as this has been an underserved community by the current Chicago culinary landscape. Authentic Nigerian Restaurant endeavors to become a permanent fixture in Chicago’s Food Scene connecting many future generations of African American’s and all Americans’ to a taste of Nigeria.
